Kata Beach

Kata Beach is a 1.5-km strip of golden sand and is considered one of the most popular beaches in Phuket due to its combination of beauty, facilities and activities. Hundreds of people come each day to soak up the sun and swim in the sea. Often busy but never crowded, this beach is pleasing in many ways.

Promthep Cape

Promthep Cape is one of the most photographed locations in Phuket. Every evening, tour buses, , scooters and private cars sweep through Rawai Beach and up the island's southernmost hill to watch the sunset. There's also a lighthouse displaying interesting historical maritime artefacts here. It commands spectacular views over the east and southeast of the island and its environs.
